Many stepped-value inks are applied in a layering process that produces a virtually continuous tone from absolute paper-white to a velvety, rich, warm black. The inks are exceptionally stable pure carbon pigment, on smooth, heavyweight cotton rag Hahnemuhle 308 gsm paper.
